SPICE COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 c. Hungry Jack potato flakes
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. soft butter
1 egg

Mix all ingredients well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Let stand on cookie sheet 1 minute. Cool on racks. Store in a tightly covered container. Makes 5 dozen.

I baked these at 400°F degrees for 10 minutes. I've been making these for over 30 years. Until this year, I had the cut-out from the box of potatoes. I looked on Hungry Jack web site and could not find it. I was glad to find it on your site.
