STRAWBERRY SPINACH SALAD 
1 lb. asparagus spears
1/2 c. bottled poppy seed dressing or Italian dressing
1 tsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. orange juice
8 c. torn spinach
2 c. sliced strawberries or whole blueberries
1 c. cooked turkey, cut in cubes
1/4 c. pecan halves

Cut asparagus into 1-inch pieces. Microwave with 2 tablespoons water on high for 5 minutes, stirring once. Drain and rinse with cold water. Let cool.

DRESSING:

Mix poppy seed dressing, orange peel, and orange juice. Mix everything and toss.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
