ALMOND BREAD 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract

Cream butter and sugar, when light add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and almond extract. Butter 4 small loaf pans and sugar pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

FROSTING:

8 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. cream
Almond extract to taste

Brush on tops of loaves while still warm.
