SHERRIED BEEF 
3 lbs. chuck or round steak
2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c. light sherry
1/2 pkg. (1/4 c.) onion soup mix

Put meat cubes in large casserole or oven-proof Dutch oven with tight lid. Mix rest of ingredients and add. Cover and bake for 4 hours at 300 degrees or for 3 hours at 325 degrees.
