MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
3 c. cornmeal mix
2 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil
3 eggs
1 can creamed corn
1/2 c. jalapeno peppers (diced)
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
8 slices bacon (fried crisp and broken into pieces)

Mix all ingredients together. Place in greased pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
