MAMA'S CORNBREAD DRESSING 
3 1/2 c. cornbread crumbs
3 1/2 crumbled biscuits
1/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. minced onions
1 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
Sage to taste (I don't like sage so I don't put it in)
2 (or more) c. hot chicken broth (I use lots of broth because I don't like stiff dressing)

Mix cornbread and biscuits in a large bowl. Melt butter and lightly saute onion and celery in it. Add to crumb mixture. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake in a shallow greased pan in a 400 degree oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
