ENGLISH CUT POT ROAST IN RED
CLAY POT (MICROWAVE)
 
3 1/2 - 4 lb. pot roast
1 onion, sliced
1/4 c. water
Microshake, Char Brown or onion & garlic

Pre-soak red clay pot for 15 minutes in cold water. Meanwhile, sprinkle Microshake liberally over roast. Pierce about every inch on both sides. Place roast in red clay pot, slice onion over top of roast. Add 1/4 cup of water. Cover with water soaked lid. Microwave 5 minutes a pound at 100% power. Turn roast over, re-cover. Microwave for 15 minutes a pound at 50% power. Let stand, covered for 5 to 8 minutes. HINTS: You may add vegetables when you turn the pot roast over. Cooking time must be increased 15 to 20 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
