CHESS PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 c. sweet cream
1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
Nutmeg
8" pie shell, unbaked

Cream together sugar and butter; add eggs, sweet cream and cornstarch. Stir well. Pour into unbaked crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or more until it looks firm.
