FLOP CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 lg. (#2) can crushed pineapple, undrained

Stir ingredients until well mixed. Bake in oblong greased and floured pan at 350 degrees until brown, about 40 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. can coconut
1 sm. can evaporated milk

Cook 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over hot cake.
