SAVORY BEEF NOODLE BAKE 
1 lb. ground chuck
2 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. sour cream
6 green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) med. cooked noodles
1/2 c. cheese, shredded

Melt butter, add ground chuck. Brown lightly. Stir in garlic salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Blend cream cheese and sour cream. Add green onions. Place 1/3 cooked noodles in buttered 2 1/2 quart casserole. Spread 1/3 cream cheese mixture over noodles. Top with 1/3 meat sauce. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 6.
