MONKEY BREAD 
6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 sticks butter
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk

Cream 2 sticks of butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Heat milk very hot, and let cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in milk and mix with butter, sugar and egg mixture. With spoon, gradually add in flour and salt. Set aside and let rise. DO NOT KNEAD.

After it has risen, push down with back of spoon. Roll out thin, as thin as pie crust. Cut in pieces about 3 x 3 inches. Melt butter (2 sticks) and dip each piece in butter and lay in pan 3 or 4 layers deep. Let rise. After it has risen, bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees in oven. Makes 3 large pans and can be put in freeze.
