CHOCOLATE PIE 
9-inch unbaked pastry shell
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla or 2 tbsp. bourbon
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. nuts
Whipped cream or Cool Whip

Prepare pastry shell, set aside (unbaked). Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small mixer bow, cream butter, add eggs and vanilla and butter. Combine sugar and flour. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 45-50 minutes or until golden. Cool about 1 hour, serve warm, garnish with Cool Whip, if desired.
