CHERRY CRUNCH 
16 graham crackers
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. melted butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. pitted Bing cherries

Crush graham crackers. Mix in brown sugar, nutmeg and melted butter.

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt. Add water slowly to make a paste. Mix in the rest of the water. Heat slowly to boiling, stirring often. Add cherries and cook until thickened.

Place half of crumb mixture in a buttered 10x7 inch pan. Pour cherries and thickened juice over crumbs. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
