1 c. peanut butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 stick butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl beat peanut butter and butter until smooth, about 1 minute. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Blend in flour and salt. Stir in 1/2 of chocolate morsels. Spread mixture into ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Immediately sprinkle remaining chocolate morsels over cookie layer. Let stand 5 minutes until morsels become shiny and soft. Spread morsels evenly over top. Cool completely. Cut into 1 1/2-inch bars. Makes 48 bars.
