CRAN-APPLE SAUCE 
2 c. fresh (or canned whole cranberry sauce) cranberries
2 c. chopped apple
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
2 inch piece cinnamon stick
4 whole cloves

Combine all ingredients in 1 1/2 quart microwave safe casserole. Cover with casserole lid. Microwave (high) 6 to 7 minutes or until berries are popped and translucent, stirring twice. Remove cinnamon and cloves before serving warm or chilled.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
