SAUSAGE BRUNCH SQUARES 
1 1/2 lbs. Owens sausage (you may use hot)
1 (8 oz.) can refrigerator crescent rolls
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
4 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/3 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a medium skillet, crumble sausage and cook over medium heat until brown, stirring once. Drain well.

In a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish, line the bottom with crescent rolls firmly pressing perforations to seal. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper and beat well. Pour over sausage mixture. Bake 15 minutes until eggs are set. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut into squares and serve immediately. Serves 6 to 8.
