VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 
1 lg. can V-8
1 lg. can tomato juice
2 qt. water
Beef bones or 1 lb. beef stew meat
Carrots
Cabbage
1 med. onion
Peas
Corn
Potatoes
Chili powder to taste
1 bay leaf
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Lawry's seasoning to taste

Boil meat until 3/4 the way done with onion, then add juices and all the vegetables you want. Shred cabbage or rip in small pieces. Season how spicy you like it. Simmer in a covered pot 2 hours. Tip: eat a day later. It always tastes better when it sets a day.
