MAGIC BALLOON BUNS | |
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 pkg. dry yeast 1/2 c. warm milk 1/4 c. shortening 1 egg 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon 12 lg. marshmellows Mix flour, 1/4 cup sugar, salt, milk and yeast. Add shortening and egg. Beat on low speed 1 minute. Beat on medium speed. Stir in enough remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, to make dough easy to handle. Knead 5 minutes on light surface. Place in greased bowl 1 1/2 hour. Dip each marshmallow in the butter, then into sugar-cinnamon (1/4 cup sugar) mixture. Roll dough out, divide into 12 pieces. Fold marshmellows in the dough parts. Pinch the ends, set into cupcake pan. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove immediately. Serve warm. |
