LAYERED SPINACH SALAD 
Lettuce
Spinach
3/4 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. green onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. carrot, grated
1 pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
1 pt. real mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
Grated Colby cheese
Bacon bits

This salad looks great in a tall clear bowl. Fill 1/4 of bowl with lettuce. Next 1/4 with spinach. Then layer each ingredient in order listed in bowl, careful not to mix the layers. Place the frozen peas on top of the carrots. Spread mayonnaise on top of peas sealing the edges. Sprinkle sugar on top followed by cheese and bacon. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Serves 12.
