BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. butter
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of broccoli soup
1 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken
1 can French fried onions

Saute onions and celery in 1/4 cup butter. Add broccoli and simmer. Add mushrooms, pecans, cheese, soup and chicken. Mix, then add rest of butter (melted). Mix well.

Put in casserole. Bake for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with French fried onions over top. Bake additional 5 minutes or until onions are medium brown. Serves 8-10.
