SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE | |
3 c. sugar 2 sticks butter 6 eggs 3 c. sifted flour 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. baking powder 8 oz. sour cream 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. lemon extract Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Add alternately dry ingredients and sour cream. Add vanilla. Start in a cold oven at 325 degrees. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. |
