SIX WEEK MUFFINS 
2 c. bran buds
2 c. shredded wheat
2 c. quick oats
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
2 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
5 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour
2 c. boiling water

Pour boiling water over cereals. Beat eggs in large bowl. Add buttermilk, oil and sugar. Mix well. Add flour, mix well. Add cereals. Mix well. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
