GRANDMA'S TEACAKES 
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. butter
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tbsp. milk
3 tsp. baking powder

Cream together 2 cups of sugar and the butter. Beat in eggs. Sift together 1 cup flour with baking powder and spices. Add to creamed mixture. Beat in milk and remaining flour gradually until the dough is stiff enough to roll.

Roll dough on a floured board until 1/4 inch thick. Cut into round cakes and sprinkle with sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes.
