ONION SWISS STEAK 
2 lb. round steak, 3/4" thick
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes

Cut round steak into serving pieces; season with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. Sprinkle onion soup mix over top and pour tomatoes over all. Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours (or High 4 hours). Variation: 1 to 2 bouillon cubes in 1 cup boiling water to replace canned tomatoes.
