OLD FASHIONED RICE PUDDING 
1/3 c. uncooked rice
4 c. milk, scalded
1/4 tsp. each cinnamon and salt
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. raisins

Combine all ingredients in flat baking dish, about 6 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches. Place in 300 degree oven and bake 1 1/2 hours or until rice is perfectly thick and creamy, not dry. Stir every 15 minutes with fork, turning under brown top and scraping edges down.

The pudding will be a little runny when you take it out of the oven, but if firms up in the refrigerator.

Serve hot or cold.
