HOT DOG RELISH 
4 c. ground onion
4 c. ground cabbage
4 c. ground green tomatoes
1/2 c. green peppers
6 sweet red peppers
1/2 c. salt
6 c. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
4 c. vinegar (cider)
2 c. water

Grind coarsely all of the peppers, onions, green tomatoes and cabbage. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of salt and let stand overnight. Rinse. Drain. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the vegetable mixture. Boil and simmer 3 minutes and can.
