REDA'S LEBANESE GREEN BEANS 
2 lb. fresh green beans, washed and snapped
1 (14.5 oz.) can whole tomatoes, crushed by hand
2 cloves garlic
1 large onion, sliced
1/2 c. vegetable oil
allspice to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Sauté onion in oil and garlic until transparent (about 5 to 10 minutes). Add tomatoes, spices, salt and pepper; bring to a boil and add green beans. Turn to simmer and cook until beans are tender. This recipe is a tribute to my late Mother who was a wonderful cook.
