GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
2 lg. bowls of green tomatoes, about 1 peck
1 1/2 lbs. onions
1 med. cabbage
6 red & 6 green peppers

Grind together. Put in large kettle. Cover with vinegar, 4 cups sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Add 2 tablespoons celery seed or pickle spice, 2 tablespoons allspice, cook slowly 2 to 3 hours or how thick you want it. Stir often. Hot pack in pint jars.
