1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and butter. Add other ingredients. Mix well. Put in refrigerator (wrapped in plastic food wrap) several hours. Roll on floured pastry cloth. Cut out with shaped cookie cutters. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 350 degrees in a preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes.
