6 c. flour 4 tsp. baking powder 2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 3/4 c. milk 2 c. raisins 2 eggs Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Separate egg yolks. Put whites over raisins to soften raisins. Save the yolks. Cut butter into dry ingredients until pea size. Fold milk into dry ingredients. Add raisins and egg whites. Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick. Brush yolks over top dough. Cut into squares, circles or diamonds. Put onto cookie sheets. Cook 21 minutes or until golden. |
