HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. pitted prunes
1 (6 oz.) pkg. dried apricots
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, undrained
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, undrained
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. cooking sherry

Place prunes and apricots in a 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon over dried fruit. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Yield: 12 servings.

Microwave: Prepare as above and cover tightly with heavy duty plastic wrap; fold back a small corner of wrap to allow steam to escape. Microwave at High 12 minutes; stir after 6 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
