SLOW COOKED CHICKEN 
Put a whole roasting chicken in crock pot in morning. Dot with butter and sprinkle with dried parsley flakes and salt. Cook on low all day or high for 3-4 hours (kids can turn it on when they get home from school). Can be put in with no spices and it is ready to be de-boned and used for casseroles.

OR

Put chicken parts in crock pot and pour a cup or so of barbecue sauce on top. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or so. Very tender and good.
