BUSY DAY STEW 
2 lbs. beef for stew
1 can tiny peas (optional)
4 to 5 carrots, cut into chunks
2 onions, chopped
2 to 3 potatoes, quartered
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 can water

Mix all ingredients in a casserole dish with a tight lid. Place in 275 degree oven for 5 to 8 hours.

Cream of tomato or cream of celery may be substituted.
