GREEN DESSERT 
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 pkg. Hydrox cookies

FILLING:

1 pkg. (3 oz.) lime Jello
1 c. boiling water
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 can chilled evaporated milk
1/2 c. whipped cream

Roll cookies. Add butter. Put 1/2 in 9 x 13 inch pan. Boil water. Add Jello and sugar, stir. Add 1/3 cup lemon juice and a little lemon rind. When Jello is cooled and slightly thickened. Beat 1 can evaporated milk that is thoroughly chilled (chill bowl and beaters also) until bowl is 2/3 full. Do not over beat. Fold in 1/2 cup whipped cream. Add green food coloring. Put other 1/2 cookies mix on top.
