CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. chocolate or butterscotch chips

Combine sugar and corn syrup. Place over moderate heat until they boil. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir. Pour mixture over Rice Krispies. Pat into buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool. Melt chips and spread on top.
