FRUIT DUMPLING 
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Set aside. Fruit as desired (#2 can cherries, apples, peaches or frozen blackberries, peaches). If you use fresh apples, add 1/2 cup water to fruit. Add to fruit 1/2 cup sugar, bring to boil, add 3/4 stick of butter. Pour batter into buttered pan or oven proof dish. Add fruit. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees until batter rises to top and is brown, about 30 minutes.
