DONUTS 
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. shortening, melted
7 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
7 c. flour

Mix thoroughly. Roll out on floured board and cut with donut cutter. Fry in oil at 425 degrees until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. 5 dozen.
