DRESSING FOR SPINACH OR LETTUCE
SALAD
 
1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. wine vinegar (red or white)
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. chives
1 tsp. parsley
1 tbsp. grated onion
Freshly ground or cracked pepper
1 ice cube

Combine all ingredients in a jar. Shake well to blend. This is good on any mixed green salad with hard-boiled eggs, bacon and sliced fresh mushrooms. Makes about 1 cup for 8 individual salads.
