2 c. sugar 1 c. milk, heavy cream 8 lg. marshmellows 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 to 2 c. pecans Combine first 3 ingredients in heavy sauce pan. Cool over medium heat 20 to 30 minutes. (Soft ball stage). Stir constantly. Remove from heat, stir in butter to vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add pecans and beat until mixture begins to thicken. Work rapidly, drop by tablespoon on lightly buttered wax paper. |
