CREAM OF BROCCOLI OR CAULIFLOWER
SOUP
 
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 stick butter
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli or cauliflower florets, chopped
1/4 c. flour
1 can chicken broth
2 c. milk
Salt & pepper

Cook and drain vegetables. Saute onions in butter. Remove from heat and stir in flour. Add chicken broth. Return to medium high heat and add milk. Stir well. Add drained vegetables, salt and pepper. Continue cooking and stirring until heated through and slightly thickened. Do not boil.
