CREAM OF CAULIFLOWER AND
BROCCOLI SOUP
 
1 head cauliflower
1 bunch broccoli
2/3 c. chopped onion
1 can chicken broth
1 can water
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. flour
Salt (optional)
Pepper
1 can chicken broth
2 c. half & half cream

Cook until tender the first 5 ingredients. Add to melted butter: Flour, salt, pepper, and chicken broth and cook until thick. Gradually stir in 2 cups half & half cream. Add to vegetables and liquid. Cook on moderate heat to blend flavors. Garnish with grated Cheddar cheese.
