SALMON PUFF | |
2 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. milk 4 slices bread, torn in pieces 1 can (15 1/2 oz.) salmon, drained and flaked 2 eggs, separated 3 tbsp. lemon juice (optional) 2 tsp. finely chopped onion 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Paprika Mix butter, milk and bread; stir in salmon, egg yolks, lemon juice, onion, salt and pepper. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into salmon mixture. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole; sprinkle with paprika. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. |
