VEGETABLE ASPIC SALAD | |
2 env. plain gelatin 1/4 c. cold water 1 pt. boiling water 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. sugar Juice of 1 lemon 1/2 c. vinegar 1 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped pimento 1 sm. green pepper, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 c. chopped tomato Soften gelatin in cold water, then dissolve in boiling water. Add salt, sugar, lemon juice, and vinegar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool until partially set. Fold in other ingredients. Chill thoroughly. |
