SOUTHWESTERN CHILI | |
1 lb. hamburger 2 c. pinto beans 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 2 tbsp. thick and chunky taco sauce 1/2 tsp. red chili powder Water Salt and pepper 1/2 med. onion In a pot, put tomato paste, taco sauce, 4 cups water, green chiles, red chili powder, onion, seasoning. In a skillet, fry hamburger, breaking it up. Drain grease, put hamburger in pot. Drain and wash sauce off pinto beans. Add beans to pot. Bring pot to boil. Then set to simmer 1 hour. Add more seasoning to taste. |
