FRONTIER CHILI | |
1 lb. ground turkey 1/2 lb. turkey sausage, cut into chunks 2 whole cloves garlic, minced 1 whole onion, chopped 1 tbsp. chili powder (or 1/2 tsp.) 1 whole (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes with thick tomato puree 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. cumin seeds, crushed 1/2 tsp. salt In large saucepan, combine ground turkey, turkey sausage, garlic, onion and chili powder. Cook over medium high heat, heat 5 minutes or until meat is browned and onion is tender. Add tomatoes with puree, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, cumin and salt. Stir well to break up tomatoes. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
