GRANDMA'S CHOW CHOW 
4 1/2 lb. sugar
1/2 gal. vinegar
1/2 box pickling spice
3 gal. green tomatoes (before grinding)
1/2 gal. ground carrots
1 doz. red mango peppers, ground
1 doz. green mango peppers, ground
1 doz. lg. onions, ground

Cook all together until it comes to a boil. Can and seal. Makes 16 pints.
