CRESCENT DELIGHT COFFEE CAKE 
2 (8 oz.) crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk

Lay 1 package of crescents on bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Do not grease the pan. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk. Spread on top of rolls. Lay other package of rolls over cream cheese layer.

Topping:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Cinnamon
1 egg white

Beat egg white until foamy. Spread over crescents and add rest of topping.

Bake 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
