PINEAPPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 eggs

Beat eggs, then add the sugar. Mix well. 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/8 tsp. salt (or to taste) 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Mix dry ingredients with the pineapple, eggs and sugar. Beat well. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.

FROSTING:

1/3 c. Pet milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil 2 to 3 minutes or until thick. Pour over the cake. You might want to add 1/2 cup coconut to frosting if you like. Cake is very moist and keeps for days. Serves about 20.
