PEANUT BRITTLE 
1 1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
1/4 c. water

Cook this until you get it up to soft crack. Add 1 1/2 cups peanuts a little at a time so it will keep boiling, keep it boiling until you get it up to hard crack. Take off the stove and add 1 tsp. baking soda (mix just until you get the soda in). Pour in a greased sheet cake pan. Let cool until its cold, then take knife and crack in pieces.
