SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine chopped nuts, cinnamon, and sugar; set aside. Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Cream butter with sugar. Beat in eggs. Add and mix in sour cream. Add flour mixture. Put in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spoon half of batter in 9 inch tube pan which has been greased and floured. Put half of nut mixture over batter. Add rest of batter, spreading carefully, then rest of nut mixture. Place in cold oven. Set at 350 degrees and bake about 55 minutes. Cool in pan before removing carefully.
